Les Roches Marbella kicked off the Fall 2019 Semester in September with several new additions to the campus and the induction of the first class of the new Master in International Hotel Management.
The commencement of the first promotion of the Master in International Hotel Management welcomed 59 students from around the world who will join their fellow postgraduate students in the Postgraduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management, Postgraduate in Marketing Management for Luxury Tourism, and the Postgraduate Executive in International Hotel Management. The Master’s program involves 9 months of study at the Marbella campus followed a 6-month internship in leading hotels.
Preceding the induction of Postgraduate students, the 54th promotion of Les Roches Marbella’s BBA in Global Hospitality Management, got underway with an inspiring multicultural student body that represents 90 countries around the world.
Coinciding with the commencement of the semester, the main campus dining facility, Le Marche, underwent a complete top to bottom renovation that includes an open layout with an abundance of natural light, more seating to accommodate an ever-growing student body, and an integrated demonstration kitchen.
In addition, the Rooms Division department unveiled its new demo hotel room of the future in order to provide students with the latest technology and practices in Rooms Division and Housekeeping during their practical training courses.
To cap of the array of campus improvements, Olivo Restaurant was revamped to make room for the cocktail demo bar while maintaining its exclusive a la carte gastronomic experience, and the dining concept of ONE (Origin, Essence, Nature) was redesigned to emphasize locally produced wholefood ingredients and a health-conscious menu that embraces trends in plant-based, gluten-free, and lactose-free diets.
