Hospitality Immersion Program (HIP) 

Essential grounding in the fundamentals of hospitality. Designed for students without a hospitality degree/relevant experience. 

Academic semester 

Features leadership, entrepreneurship, digital marketing and financial/performance management, plus your choice of elective courses and a business field trip to Dubai.  

Industry internship 

A six-month professional internship gives you the chance to apply everything you learned in your first semester. We help to arrange internships with top brands all over the world. 

The field trip* is an essential – and hugely popular – element of this PGD program, bringing to life what you’ve learned in the classroom.

You’ll get to visit some 20 luxury hotels, meeting with General Managers, departmental heads and other experienced hospitality professionals.

Your PGD program includes a 6-month professional internship, where you can develop your hospitality know-how and discover the secrets of the best, and most innovative, brands.

You can base your internship in your country of study, or make use of our global industry connections to try a completely new environment.

Minimum age:



A copy of academic credentials (Degree, final official transcript for the full degree program). The school accepts documents in English, or one of the Swiss national languages, i.e. French, German and Italian. If not, an official notarized translation in English will be required.

Postgraduate Diploma applications from non-degree holders with extensive documented work experience will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Non-degree holders may qualify for a Professional Development Diploma, not a Postgraduate Diploma.

Work experience is preferred but not required for all other programs

English level:

Must be proficient in English for higher education studies. English language exam scores (issued in the last 12 months) are required from candidates who are not native English speakers, or who have not spent the last two years in full-time English education.

Flexible study options

In response to the current circumstances, we have introduced a number of flexible study options for our graduate programs starting in March 2021:

  • Late arrival window extended to four weeks after program start (with personalized catch-up plan)
  • Remote learning options tailored to each program – including online modules, full class broadcasts (live/as live depending on your time zone), one-to-one online mentoring sessions with program leaders and faculty, plus bespoke career support
  • Option to defer to a 100% face-to-face future intake at no extra tuition cost (within first six weeks of remote study)
