What is talent management and leadership?

Talent management refers to the process of maximizing the performance of your human resources, by keeping them engaged, supported and on a constant path of learning and development. According to a 2018 survey by consultants McKinsey, 99% of respondents who reported their company’s talent management was very effective said they outperform their competitors, compared with 56% of all other respondents.

Leadership is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as ‘the action of leading a group of people or an organization’. There are many facets to being an effective leader, including ‘soft skills’ such as communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution – all of which are covered by this diploma program.
