Carlos Díez de la Lastra, Director General & CEO of Les Roches Marbella will participate in Grupo Via Spain‘s “Gran Debate Hotelero” de Barcelona, being held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Hotel Majestic on the Paseo de Gracia.
The Majestic Hotel, located in Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, will host the Gran Debate Hotelero de Barcelona on Tuesday March 15, 2016. The debate’s main objective is to analyze, with the help of leading executives in the tourism sector, what are the appropriate strategies needed to ensure continued growth in the hotel industry and their responses to the challenges that have led to the emergence of a collaborative economy. It will also discuss the future of Barcelona as a tourist destination following the success of the Barcelona ’92 Olympics, the strength of the Barcelona brand.
The day will begin with a panel discussion, moderated by Carlos Diez de la Lastra, Director General and CEO of Les Roches Marbella. This debate will include the participation of Ghislain Dauvigny, Managing Director of Pierre & Vacances Spain; Jairo Gonzalez, CEO of Sidorme Hotels; Alfonso Castilian, CEO of Petit Palace Hotels; Javier Catalán, assistant to president of Zenit Hotels and David Mora, founder of Emoturismo and will address the theme “Strategies to increase the attractiveness of the hotels.”
After the first roundtable debate presentations will be made by representatives of major institutions and hotel companies. Wrapping up the event is a second debate under the theme: “Towards a new growth model: The Future of Barcelona as a Tourist Destination”. (uniforumtz.com)
