Laura Tielve is a 2016 graduate of the BBA in Global Hospitality Management at Les Roches Marbella. She is currently part of the development team of the future Four Seasons resort and beach club in Marbella, Spain.
My values are what I consider to be crucial in the way I live and work; they give me purpose and always determine my professional and personal priorities. I have always valued autonomy, creativity, dedication, and honesty and strive to exhibit these in my work with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts each day. My passion for service, traveling, and interacting with people has naturally me to a career in hospitality.
While attending an open day at Les Roches Marbella in 2013, I realized I felt right at home. At that moment I discovered Les Roches’s innovative approach to hospitality education and when I experienced student life in Marbella I knew hospitality was the profession for me. Les Roches was something more than an educational institution, it is a way of thinking, a way of behaving, and the hospitality industry was built on the values I hold dear. The common thread that runs among all students at Les Roches is the desire for a brighter future for the world.
Today, even as an alumna of the BBA in Global Hospitality Management, I am still very proud to call myself a Les Roches Marbella ambassador. Since my very first year, I have always portrayed the values of LRM to its fullest and by doing so, I still serve as a mentor and I try to have a positive impact on the lives of other students. My professional career began with the opening of the Four Seasons Surf Club in Miami Beach and I soon found that this company reflects my values, gives me purpose, and satisfaction in my work. After graduating, it was essential to me to continue growing and learning within an organization where the culture would fit my beliefs and work ethics. Hence, I have been blessed to work at Four Seasons; one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality companies in the world that cherish a strong service culture.
