Our latest YouTube video series gives you the chance to gain insight into the incredible experiences our students enjoy while on internships. As a vital part of a Les Roches education, we focus on three students from different programs and nationalities as they complete their internships at a range of locations and sectors.
Our first video sees Johan, a Bachelor in Hospitality Management student from Sweden, guide us through his internship at The Alpina Gstaad Hotel. Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the luxury ski resort boasts stunning facilities and breathtaking views. “I don’t just work in a hotel, I also get to live in the most gorgeous environment,” says Johan. The video also sees Johan fill us in on his current role as a Sales and Marketing Trainee. “No two days are the same,” he says. “I organize press visits, create promotional material, manage the hotel’s social media and host site inspections – all in one day!”

Johan believes this has been beneficial to his future career. “Thanks to this internship, I have learned to work with top-tier clientele from around the world,” he says. “It has also helped me become much more flexible.”
