Since this Friday, March the 8th, is our first Open Day of 2013 we thought it would be nice to share what goes on during the event and why it is so helpful in preparing candidates for the big step that comes with beginning their careers in hospitality management.
Welcome to Marbella!
For most candidates the day begins with discovering the beautiful city of Marbella for the first time. It goes without saying; the experience of visiting Marbella is already a unique one on its own. The city boasts countless treasures and interesting places to see. From the historic downtown area with its quaint shops and tapas bars to the world famous yachting port and high street shopping district of Puerto Banus, Marbella always leaves a lasting impression on those who visit.
The experience doesn’t end with getting to know our community though and once candidates arrive on campus later in the day, they begin right away to learn firsthand what it truly means to study at Les Roches. It only takes stepping over the entrance threshold to begin discovering the spirit that embodies our university.

Since our campus functions just like a real world hotel operation, during their visit candidates are given a unique behind the scenes look at the hard work and dedication demanded in the world of hospitality. By exploring our state-of-the-art learning facilities up front and in action, they begin to understand why we place such a high value on craft-based learning as the most effective method for preparing future professionals in hospitality management.
Meet Fellow Students
And of course, wherever candidates venture on campus they will find the proud students that give meaning to the Les Roches “Way of Life”. Talking with their peers who are already pursuing careers in hospitality is often how candidates decide that they too are ready to follow the same path. Meeting such a diverse group of fellow students from around the world and hearing their unique stories of studying at Les Roches Marbella is a great way for candidates to gain invaluable insights. After all, who better to learn from than those who have taken the journey they too are about to embark on.
The day is capped off with a visit to their future homes in the residence wing of the campus and finally, an awe inspiring tour of the three kitchen operations on campus. The residence tends to provoke a certain intrigue amongst candidates who are curious about where they will live. (Phentermine) 
Meanwhile, watching how the different kitchen operations effortlessly prepare dinner for 200+ people tends to amaze first time visitors by the level of organizational planning that goes into such a feat on a daily basis.
