Last year at this time, when we officially launched the Student Ambassador Program, we set a goal to develop a network of students who embody what it truly means to be part of Les Roches Marbella. A year later we have not only achieved our goal, we have exceeded it beyond our expectations. From this week forward, we are proud to say that Les Roches Marbella is represented by no less than 43 young hospitality professionals from more than 30 countries around the world.
Some of our Student Ambassadors have graduated already and are well on their way to building their careers in the hospitality industry. Others are carrying out their internship semester in hotels abroad as a requisite to earning their degree in hospitality management. And the most recent selection are studying right here, on campus. On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Les Roches Marbella inducted 19 new Student Ambassadors who proceed from 17 countries spanning the globe. They range from third year BBA Hospitality students who are looking forward to the next phase of their careers in the hotel industry to first year BBA students who are eager to start their careers off on the right foot. Regardless of where our Student Ambassadors are around the world, they all share common traits – a dedication to excellence in their chosen profession and a life-long commitment to proudly represent Les Roches Marbella wherever they may go.
Being a Student Ambassador not only means carrying LRM pride beyond the school, but also demonstrating it every day on campus. Today, Friday September 20, 2013, will mark their first public appearance as part of our welcoming team during the first Open Day of the semester. In this capacity they will have their first opportunity to demonstrate to the public why Les Roches Marbella is more than a school, it’s a way of life.
We look forward to getting to know each of our new ambassadors in the years to come and we are sure you, our readers, will get to know them as well. So, without further ado, it is our pleasure to introduce the Autumn 2013 LRM Student Ambassadors:
