Through the week of August 25, the four Les Roches Marbella fraternity houses held their second semi-annual election cycle among the student body. With the autumn 2014 semester now underway, the four houses will soon begin to compete in a variety of student sports, academic, and charity related events.
The fraternity based initiative, launched in Spring 2014, groups the student body into four houses led by their elected captains and prefects. The houses strive to develop valuable leadership, teamwork, and professional skills among future leaders in the international hospitality industry. With a student body that consists of 60 nationalities from around the world, the LRM Houses are based on the spirit of multicultural cooperation.
After an enthusiastic week of candidate speeches and their subsequent elections, we are pleased to announce the winners here in the Les Roches Marbella Blog.
The Autumn 2014 selection is as follows:
Purple House
Captain: Vanessa Velarde (Venezuela)
Vice-Captain: Ipshitsa Kumar (India)
