Welcome to Les Roches Marbella’s new blog! As this is our first post, a brief introduction is in store for those who are not already familiar with our institution.
We have been successfully educating future professionals and setting industry trends since 1995 in Spain’s premiere Mediterranean resort community of Marbella. Our unique position at the center of the hospitality and tourism industries has prompted us to launch the Les Roches Marbella Blog, a space offering exclusive industry insights from our faculty, students and contributing alumni.
We’ve been busy the last several months organizing a diverse cross section of contributors and carefully setting up the blog to give you a complete picture of what Les Roches stands for in the realm of international hospitality management careers. Our efforts are now coming to light and I’m happy to say that the interest by all those that we asked to contribute has been phenomenal. As it turns out, everyone who has spent time at Les Roches Marbella has unforgettable memories and informative learning experiences to share. With such enthusiasm from the outset we are extremely excited to present to you today, the first entries in what is sure to become a long list of informative articles covering a wide range of topics.
Since we have so much to share we’ve decided to divide the blog into four sections that will feature regular posts. First is Hospitality & Tourism and it will include everything from unique travel ideas and golfing getaways to expert analysis on industry specific trends and entrepreneurial opportunities. This is followed by Career Development, where you will learn firsthand what type of industry experience and tools we provide our students in order to be successful in Hospitality Management.
Finally, we dedicate the fourth section to our Alumni, the ones who have lived and learned at Les Roches and are now building their careers in a wide array of areas within the international hospitality industry. Thanks to their hard work and ongoing success, Les Roches Marbella is ranked by the industry as the number one school in Spain for a career in International Hospitality Management. We are forever appreciative of their enthusiasm and their contributions will surely be an important guide to others who are following in their footsteps.
In addition to the four principle sections, there is also an entire blog dedicated to and written by our students. In this blog our student ambassadors will share their own unique views about their experiences while studying at Les Roches Marbella.
