With an amazing snowy start to the winter season, we have already prepared a new activity program that will keep our students active throughout the semester. Our sports and events flyer is only a glimpse of the activities we have planned, so let’s look at what’s on offer.
Enjoying a winter wonderland
Each year we have students from all over the world participating in winter sports activities. Snow tubing, snow shoeing and sledging are just three of our most popular activities during the winter.
As our campus is right at the foot of the world-famous ski resort Crans-Montana, we also offer the possibility to learn how to ski and snowboard at an incredible discount. The lessons are given by an official Swiss ski school that we work closely with.
We also have our yearly event The Alpine Challenge Funky Fur, an annual fun ski race where competitors race down a big slalom track dressed in their funniest onesies.
Discover Switzerland
What better way to learn about Swiss culture than by participating in local events and visiting Switzerland’s most popular landmarks? How about visiting Zurich and Bern, or discovering the region of Interlaken? From carnival parades in Sion to visiting different castles in the region, there is something for everyone. There are also the Swiss cheese and chocolate factories in Gruyere, which are always popular.
Get ready for some action
Students who like to challenge themselves can join us for a paintball tournament, climbing experience or 20km running race in Lausanne.
This is just a small selection of the type of activities we prepare for our students each semester. For the team sports enthusiasts, we have several sporting tournaments in basketball, football, volleyball and rugby. Even if you’re less sporty than others, you can still participate, joining our fan bus to support our teams. Together, we will make 2018 an amazing year!
