Each year the city of Marbella awards one of its residents a full scholarship to study at Les Roches Marbella. This year Marbella resident, Teresa Delgado Hernandez, was chosen by the city hall based on her outstanding academic background, adeptness in languages and a desire to pursue a career in international hospitality management.
Ms. Delgado grew up in Marbella and in 2013 graduated from the Atendis Las Chapas School. Her passion for hospitality led her to apply last spring for the annual scholarship and after an arduous selection process, she was delighted to receive the news in July that she had been chosen for this exciting opportunity to study at Les Roches Marbella.
In an act celebrated on August 8th at Marbella’s city hall, Mayor Angeles Muñoz formally presented Ms. Delgado with the scholarship award and the following day she was on her way to study at Les Roches Marbella. Shortly thereafter, Radio Television Marbella invited her on the air to hear her story and find out her career ambitions in the world of hospitality (watch the full interview below).
Two weeks into her first semester as a Hospitality Management student at Les Roches Marbella, we are extremely excited about her positive outlook and we are honored to have such a determined young professional on campus paving her way to a successful future in the hotel industry. From all of us at Les Roches Marbella, we wish to congratulate Ms. Delgado on her scholarship award and we look forward to seeing her grow professionally over the next three years.
