The CEO of Les Roches Marbella, Carlos Díez de La Lastra, in his speech during the closing ceremony, reinforced the character and international vocation of the school, described by the industry as a leader in Spain and located among the top of the world in its specialty. “You’re going to begin soon a new post, in which you have to answer many questions and new challenges. I am sure that your education at Les Roches Marbella, with an international training program that brings together students from over sixty different nationalities, will open the possibility of professional and personal opportunities in every corner of the world”, he said.
The training each of the graduates undertook now puts them into a position to pursue a successful career in the international hotel industry and related sectors. Furthermore, Carlos Díez de la Lastra noted that “we expect to be able to show you that personal values like humility, discipline, responsibility, and concern for others are also important attributes for the future of an industry based on service and attention to people”.
The closing ceremony was presided by the Councillor for Education & Culture of the City of Marbella, Carmen Diaz and attended by the General Manager of Barcelo Marbella, Enrique Castellanos, CEO of Les Roches Marbella, Carlos Díez de la Lastra, the Academic Director of Les Roches Marbella, Maria José Aparicio, and other representatives of the Marbella community.
