Les Roches Marbella is excited to have one of its students participating in the 2015 Young Chef Olympiad being held this week in Calcutta, India. Marcin Maliczowski, student of the BBA in International Hotel Management from Poland, won last semester’s Master Chef competition and was chosen to represent Les Roches Marbella in this international event that includes talent from 30 different countries around the world.
Contestants of the first round of the 2015 Young Chef Olympiad arrived in India this week for a series of master classes and excursions before they square off in the culinary arts competition this Friday and Saturday, January 30th and 31st. The results of the first round being held this weekend will be collated and a Grand Finale is scheduled for Friday 30th November 2015 in Calcutta.
The International Institute of Hotel Management and the India Ministry of Tourism are sponsoring the event in an effort to bring recognition to the international talent of young chefs from around the world.
