During a reception at the café-bistro on Tuesday September the 18th, Les Roches Marbella inaugurated the 2012-2013 Student Ambassadors program, whereupon a group of select student volunteers will represent their colleagues and the school. Candidates were selected based on a number of personal traits. These include a desire to help and inspire others through their work, their interest in event coordination, public relations and speaking, as well being passionate about Les Roches Marbella and the school’s broader community.
Through their passion for our university and the careers they have chosen, the new Student Ambassadors will volunteer their time demonstrating to the world outside what LRM stands for. Having experienced the ‘ups and downs’ of being university students, they are the perfect candidates to represent the spirit of LRM both on campus and in the community. In this capacity, they will attend school events and official visits to share their experiences at Les Roches Marbella with young people interested in pursuing a career in International Hospitality Management.
In addition, they will be afforded great networking opportunities while serving as the student body welcoming team to the numerous hospitality companies that visit LRM each year to recruit new professionals. To highlight their dedication, the new Student Ambassadors have also pledged their commitment to the environment and society through their representation in activities organized through the local community.
If this isn’t enough, the Student Ambassadors will also be appearing regularly right here in the Les Roches Marbella Student Blog. Our readers are invited to enjoy their stories about living on campus, discovering the joy of living in Marbella, preparing for their first internships, cultural adventures, and a wide open range of personal accounts that form the dynamism of being a student at LRM.
They will surely have a busy year ahead of them but with their enthusiasm and ambition, we know it is going to be a very rewarding year for each and every one of them. So, without further ado, from the Student Services Department and all of us at LRM – we are proud to welcome our new Student Ambassadors; Sneha Idnani, Katalin Hajas, Mohaned Kandil, Guillaume Lafond, Constança Paradanta, Alejandro Ramirez, Patricia Rufino, Vladimir Sochinskiy, Margherita Tiso, Leila Vanbelle, Esther Navarro, Anna-Jessica Wienands, as well the three honorary Ambassadors, Nicolas Chaudet, Almudena Casas and Elena Chicote.
Here in the LRM Blog we wish to thank them for their exceptional interest and we look forward to reading about their experiences over the coming months. We welcome our readers to come back soon and get to know the Les Roches Marbella Student Ambassadors!
