To keep it within the LRM family, we got three alumni to sponsor the event – Alistair, Victor, and John, are the owners of one of the hottest dining spots in Marbella, Small World Café. To show their school spirit, they’ve offered the winner of the contest an exclusive dinner for two that will surely include awesome food and the most excellent service!
As a throwback to Disney’s theme song and the café’s name, we are calling our first ever Facebook contest, “It’s A Les Roches World After All”. Under the hashtag #LesRochesWorld, students and alumni can participate by submitting creative photos of themselves at work in hotels or travelling around the world. They are afforded the opportunity to earn extra bonus points if their photos include the hotel where they work, famous landmarks they are visiting, and especially if they are wearing a school t-shirt or hoodie. The contest is now open and will run through until Friday, July 26th, with the winner being announced on Facebook on Tuesday, July 30th.
Playing is really easy (complete details are listed below), to win the dinner for two, participants must accumulate the most “Likes” for their photo by sharing it in their own networks and encouraging their friends and family to vote. At the end of the contest we will tally up all of the Likes and the photo with the most will be awarded a dinner for two at Small World Café or alternatively, if they won’t be visiting Marbella in the near future, they can choose an official LRM Hoodie and Rucksack.

How to Participate
Contest Title: “It’s An LRM World After All”
Duration: Wednesday July 10, 2013 to Friday July 26, 2013 (All entries must be received no later than Wednesday July 24, 2013). The winner will be announced on Tuesday July 30, 2013
Open to: LRM Students and Alumni – (One photo per entrant).
Prize: Dinner for two at the renowned Small World Café in Marbella, owned and operated by three LRM Alumni. If the winner cannot redeem his/her prize, alternatively a hoodie and ruck sack will be sent to them.
Criteria: Send us a photo (via private message on Facebook) of yourself from the hotel or other establishment where you are currently working/interning, also from your holiday destinations around the world or even at home enjoying your summer break. One photo per entrant will be allowed, so be creative in your choice of locations. Places like the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal or in front of the hotel where you work are a big plus). Each photo submission must be accompanied by your full name, email and basic information about where the photo was taken.
How to win: Each photo entered will receive one point for each “Like” received. An additional 10 bonus points will be given to each photo that includes the student/alumnus wearing an LRM hoodie, t-shirt or is displaying the school logo in some fashion that is visible in the photo. Another 5 bonus points will be given if the photo is taken with the hotel or famous landmark clearly visible in the background.
At the end of the competition, the photo with the most points (total Likes + bonus points), is the winner.
*Tip: Be sure to “Share” your photo on your own profile directly from the LRM fan page by clicking on the corresponding share button. Encourage your friends to visit the LRM Fan Page to share your photo as well. This way you can get all of your friends to vote by “Liking” your photo.
