The power of the Les Roches network
With over 12,000 members in 130 countries, Anna believes the alumni network is one of the most important business advantages a graduate gains from Les Roches. “The strength of Les Roches is really the network that you have with you for the rest of your life”, she said. “I stay in touch with a lot of the alumni, both on a professional level but also on a personal, some of the people I met here are today some of my best friends.”
3 tips for entrepreneurs and leaders
Anna shared her three key pieces of advice for Les Roches students and alumni looking to launch a company.
- Do a proper business and market research.
- Find your niche and stick to it, but still be flexible.
- Be humble to receive advice from other people in the industry who might have tried certain things and might be able to give you feedback on their experience.”
“Humbleness, I think, is very important when it comes to being an entrepreneur.”
“To be an entrepreneur today I think it’s very important to stay up to date with the new trends, to be quick on your feet and flexible, and definitely to be patient. A business is not built in a day, you have to be patient, you have to believe in what you are doing and really just go for it.”
Thank you to Anna for returning to Les Roches to share her success story and advice for the next generation of hospitality leaders and entrepreneurs. We wish her continued success with Heuchenne Bauge in Mallorca.
