The second in our series of YouTube internship videos follows Swana Su as she completes her internship at luxury watchmakers Hublot.
Swana, 22, a BBA Global Hospitality Management student, has been working with Hublot as a Travel Retail Representative. “What I do is essential for the growth of the company within the Chinese market,” Swana says. “My days are literally ruled by the clock. I host VIP visits, plan marketing campaigns and develop business strategies. I feel empowered to make a positive impact within the company.”
Interning at Hublot has helped Swana in a number of ways. “It has reinforced my will to work in the luxury industry,” she says. “It has also helped me to improve my management skills, and enabled me to make amazing connections.” As for her next step, Swana is open-minded. “I really don’t know what the future holds, but I have no worries or doubts. I’m ready to live a dream life.”
