Julio was born in Marbella, but he has lived and worked in countries including Switzerland, the UK, Sweden, Tanzania, Greece, Thailand, Cambodia and Nicaragua. He held the role of operations manager for a variety of hotels and F&B companies, after which he opened several F&B businesses around the world. 

He then returned home to join Les Roches Marbella as a Lecturer, aiming to fulfil his ambition to encourage young, passionate hospitality professionals to follow their dreams of working for leading hospitality companies or opening their own businesses.
