Joan Aviso is currently the Manager of the Learning Resources Center, overseeing academic support services and resource development to improve student learning. With 20 years of experience in academic libraries, she has depth expertise in digital transformation and scholarly communication.

She also teaches academic writing and communication skills, guiding students to articulate their ideas with precision, coherence, and academic rigor.

Joan holds a Master of International Studies degree from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Information Science from a state university in the Philippines.
