Want to learn more about sustainable hotels, cutting food waste and space tourism? You can get bite-sized insights into these and other topics by tuning into our new video magazine show: Spark TV.
In this first episode, regular presenter Cristina Acheni is joined by Les Roches alumnus Rodrigo Gratianne, co-founder of startup Recotrak. The innovative business was among the first to receive pre-incubation support from Spark; and Rodrigo joined Spark TV to explain how its new tech tool will enable excess cooked food to be more easily certified as safe for human consumption. This in turn means it could be donated to the needy instead of being thrown away.
Spark TV also checks in with a new hospitality concept that has music at its heart – UMusic Hotels – and investigates a contender for the world’s easiest way to pay.
The show finishes with a trip into space, as Spark TV previews a new space tourism service from a Spanish spaceship company called EOS-X, founded by Les Roches alumnus Kemel Kharbachi.
· We’ll be back with another episode of Spark TV in around three months. If you have an innovation focused topic you’d like us to cover, or any feedback on our first episode, feel free to drop us a line at spark@lesroches.edu
