Friday, March 24, 2017 – Les Roches Marbella held its 44th graduation of the Postgraduate in International Hotel Management (Class of October 2016 – “PGO”), in a closing ceremony that took place at the Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa in Marbella. A total of 44 students from the school have received their credentials.
The new graduates, who have lived and studied on campus with students of more than 70 nationalities, come from 13 countries: Albania, Azerbaijan, Canada, Colombia, Georgia, Greece, India, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Tanzania, Ukraine and Spain. All of them have completed the 1-year Postgraduate Diploma inInternational Hotel Management. The postgraduate course is aimed at degree holders and professionals (who have a minimum of three years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry) and who wish to reorient their professional career in the international hospitality industry.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ricardo López Weeden, Public Treasury Adviser of the City of Marbella; D. Guilherme Costa, General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisboa, who has given the closing lecture, D. Carlos Díez de la Lastra Buigues, General Director of Les Roches Marbella, and Ms. María José Aparicio, Academic Director of Les Roches Marbella. (Belbien) Also during the event, the “Social Responsibility Award” of Les Roches Marbella was awarded to the Spanish foundation for children with Epidermolysis Bullos, DEBRA Spain, in recognition of the work performed by the charity and the values it represents.
