Versions of Happy have appeared around the world; from Tokyo, Malaysia, and Sydney to London, New York and Dubai. Universities, civic organizations, corporations, entire cities (don’t forget to watch Marbella is Happy!) and small groups of friends have expressed their happiness by dancing to this catchy and soon to be classic pop song.
As it turned out, this was the perfect song for the Les Roches global community. It perfectly embodies what it means to be a part of Les Roches International School of Hotel Management. It is also the key attribute that defines what it means to be a hospitality professional. So, beginning in March, our campuses set out to express their happiness by producing their own versions of the hit single, Happy.
Beginning with We Are Happy from Les Roches Switzerland and followed up days later by Les Roches Marbella is Always Happy, the two campuses entertained the world with their genuine happiness and characteristic hospitality. Both videos have gone viral and it is not without reason – they are simply great fun to watch, regardless of your personal interests or profession.
We wish to thank, one more time, all of the students, faculty, and staff who participated in making this possible. Not to mention our sincere gratitude to our community around the world who has shown us their support by watching and sharing our campuses’ videos. Without you, the overwhelming success they have experienced would not have been possible.
*Today, April 10, 2014, marks one week since we launched Les Roches Marbella is Always Happy and to commemorate the more than 7,000 views it has received around the world, we are holding a behind the scenes screening of The Making of Happy in the school’s Bistro Café. There was enough video footage to make a dozen versions of the song so we have compiled it all into one amazing reel of happiness for all to enjoy.
