Dr. Mahala Geronasso is a Lecturer in Hospitality Accounting and Finance at Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches. Originally from Brazil and having lived, studied, and worked in the United States and Europe, Mahala has a global perspective that shapes her teaching and research philosophy.

Dr. Mahala started her academic and professional journey in Orlando. She is an academic researcher and consultant who specializes in hospitality finance, digital transformation, and innovation, and has a passion for connecting technology, strategy, and financial performance.

Dr. Mahala has a PhD in Hospitality Management, with a finance concentration, from the University of Central Florida as well as an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management.
