Raul Santiago Castro-Lopez, FHEA is a seasoned academic and hospitality management professional with over 15 years of teaching experience across vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, including at the Master’s level. He began his academic career in the United Kingdom at the renowned University College Birmingham (UCB), where degrees were conferred by the University of Birmingham. Since relocating to Spain in 2019, Raul has held academic positions at Endicott International University and Schiller International University. He currently serves as both Assistant Dean and Clinical Professor at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education.
As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Raul has demonstrated a commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning within higher education.
Raul is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Tourism, Economics, and Management, complementing his extensive academic credentials, which include a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a Master’s degree in Tourism Business Administration and Management. Beyond academia, Raul brings over two decades of experience in establishing and managing international partnerships with distinguished organizations across B2B, B2C, and B2G sectors. He has also served as Director of the Erasmus Program.
