Designed for ambitious hospitality professionals, recent graduates and career-changers, this Master’s combines the traditional Swiss ethos of luxury hotel management with the latest strategies in operations, digital marketing, talent and leadership. You’ll develop the skills to become a successful hotel manager.

Semester 1: 

Get the inside track on hotel operations, including rooms, housekeeping, front desk and F&B. Sharpen your financial, operational and people management skills. 

Term 2 (3 months): 

Learn about strategy, asset management, sustainability and events before tackling an applied business capstone project. Also includes field trip to Dubai. 

Internship (optional): 

An optional six-month professional internship provides an opportunity to apply everything you have learned in class. 

The Dubai field trip is an essential – and hugely popular – element of this Master’s, bringing to life what you’ve learned in the classroom. 

Luxury hotel visitsplus meetings with General Managers and other hospitality leaders, will help you build your network in one of the world’s fastest-growing and most innovative luxury hospitality markets. 

While you are with us on campus, our Careers Development and Industry Placement (CDIP) team will help you to make the right career choices during your Master’s program and beyond.

This Master’s program incorporates an optional 6-month professional internship. 

You have the opportunity to develop your hotel management expertise in a real-world environmentwhile building your all-important industry network.   

We will help you secure an internship that matches the specialist program content, as well as your ambitions and personality. And we will ensure you are fully supported throughout your internship experience.

Education:

A copy of academic credentials (Degree, final official transcript for the full degree program).

The school accepts documents in English, or one of the Swiss national languages, i.e. French, German and Italian. If not, an official notarized translation in English will be required.

Postgraduate Diploma applications from non-degree holders with extensive documented work experience will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Non-degree holders may qualify for a Professional Development Diploma, not a Postgraduate Diploma.

Work experience:

Relevant work experience is preferable, but not required.

English level:

Must be proficient in English for higher education studies. English language exam scores (issued in the last 12 months) are required from candidates who are not native English speakers, or who have not spent the last two years in full-time English education.
