This is a transformational journey for Les Roches. It goes much wider than our brand identity, although we hope you like the new look and feel. The bigger picture is that we’re evolving the positioning of our schools and our academic programs so we can be perfectly in tune with today’s digital-first environment. In doing so, we’re embracing the digital technology that is not just impacting the hospitality industry, but also education itself.
We know that new generations of digital natives consume information in different ways to their predecessors. This impacts the way they learn; and it influences the type of environment they expect to find in their places of study.
At the same time, digital transformation is a big story within the hospitality industry right now. These are disruptive times, creating wonderful opportunities for young professionals who can combine hospitality know-how with innovative and entrepreneurial thinking. We want these young change-makers to find a home at Les Roches – a place where they can challenge conventional thinking and develop their disruptive ideas.
A world-first Master’s
As one of the world’s leading hospitality business schools, we are perfectly placed to help our students, and the companies which recruit them, achieve their future goals.
Now we’re truly stepping up to this task, launching new graduate programs, including the world’s first Master’s devoted to the topic of Hospitality Strategy and Digital Transformation, while also enhancing our flagship bachelor’s and MBA programs.
Later this month our alumni will also get to share in the benefits of our evolution, with the launch of a new and exclusive online portal. This is part of a broader package of value-add alumni services, which recognizes the vital role our alumni play in the life of Les Roches. Information about this portal and how to sign up for it is in the process of being sent to each individual alumna and alumnus.
The final – vital – element of this project is the rollout of a holistic student development strategy, designed to sustain the transformational journey all our students take while they are with us. As a Les Roches student, you will have access to a wide-ranging package of support services throughout your education, from pre-application to graduation and beyond. This will also allow us to build on the uniquely close-knit communities that are a hallmark of all our global campuses, and which we believe is one of our unique strengths as an institution.
