Coronavirus Updates Les Roches Marbella campus

Following recent events in Spain, please be informed of the new restrictions applicable by law from today as per the regional government of Andalucía.
Andalucía border closure
From Friday, October 30 to November 9. No one may enter or leave the Andalucía region except for just cause such as for work or for medical reasons.
Air traffic (National and International flights) should not be affected, however please check with your airline before you travel.
Provincial borders will also be closed in Jaén, Seville and Granada, as well as those of 448 municipalities in the region.
These include the Vega de Málaga health district in the north of the province of Málaga which comprises Alameda, Almargen, Antequera, Archidona, Campillos, Cañete la Real, Cuevas Bajas, Cuevas de San Marcos, Fuente de Piedra, Humilladero, Mollina, Sierra de Yeguas, Teba, Valle de Abdalajís, Villanueva de Algaidas, Villanueva de la Concepción, Villanueva de Tapia, Villanueva del Rosario and Villanueva del Trabuco.
The central Government has now officially declared a state of alarm and imposed a curfew from 23.00 to 06.00 – During these hours it is forbidden to leave your home/residence except for justified reasons, such as a medical emergency or going to work.
Bars and restaurants in Andalucía must now close at 22.30
- Campus curfew will remain until further notice – the main campus will be under a strict curfew in which students will not be allowed to enter nor exit the campus between:
Weekends (Friday to Sunday) 22.00 in the evening to 09:00 am
Weekdays (Monday to Friday) 22.00 in the evening to 07:00 am – exceptions to students on practical duties
- Officially and by law, private gatherings have been reduced to a maximum of 6 people. However, please be reminded that gatherings in student accommodations are strictly prohibited.
As a collective responsibility and in line with our current regulations, gatherings in other students’ rooms and/or apartments are prohibited. Security will control movements in residences. Consequences for not following this regulation will lead to severe disciplinary measures such as prohibition to enter campus and expulsion from the semester. The responsibility to abide this regulation lies on both room/apartment owners and visitors
- Increased security in exterior residences – security will be increased to ensure curfew and gathering restrictions are enforced.
